Frank Bigelow (Edmond O'Brien) begins having the time of his life, he is very happy and is going to be married to his fiance Paula Gibson (Pamela Britton). They are in San Fransisco California and they are having the time of there life, they go out for a night of partying and have a fun night, Frank decides to drink, quite a lot. The next morning he wakes up and is very sick, so he goes to the doctor and the doctor tells him he has a disease that was given to him on purpose, and he only has a week to live. The rest of his life he spends on a mission trying to find the person who tried to murder him..
