Thomas J. Murphy is convinced he is realted to the late King, Elvis. What better place for him to pull off the crime of his life that in Las Vegas during an Elvis impersonator convention. After robbing the Riviera Casino, Murphy shoots all of his partners, including Michael Zane (Kurt Russell). Zane survives and finds himself with a single mom and her young son in tow as he persues the $3.2 million dollar payoff from the casino robery. Cybil (Courtney Cox) is simply looking for a ticket out of her deadend life and instead finds herself constantly in the middle of this madman's game as they chase each other and try to remain free. It doesn't take long for all of their plans to unravel.
