The movie is about a man named Danny (Jet Li). he was kidnapped at a young age after his mother was shot. the man who took him made him a fighting machine. He uses Danny as a hitman. On one job Danny meets Sam (Morgan Freeman). Sam is a blind piano tuner. Sam takes Danny in. Then Danny explains all the horrible things his captor made him do. So Sam tries to assimilate Danny back in to the human society. Danny's kidnapper is not to happy with this because he has lost his main weapon. So he tries to take Danny back, but he says no and in the end there is a big fight
