This movie tells the story of four brothers - two black and two white - who were adopted by Evelyn Mercer, a Detroit social worker. Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, Andre Benjamin and Terrence Howard all star. It begins with the mother's murder in a convenience store hold up. The sons reunite for her funeral and become determined to find out who killed their mother. They quickly discover that their mom was actually a target of the killers and not an accidental or unplanned murder. The four brothers bond together and overcome personal conflicts to avenge their mother's murder.
